I couldn’t care less if you think I’m annoying.

I don’t give a shit if my friends think I grovel or even if they don’t understand.

It is so whatever if you’re trying to talk me into believing that distance makes you forget.

I remain unbothered by the fact that you wanted to save me from your flooded way.

I’m still going to text you weekly to check on you and see if you’re taking good care of yourself.

I’m not going to stop unless you ask me to, because silence is not an answer.

And maybe one day, when your pilgrimage around those arms you use in vain to forget me comes to an end, you will wake up.

Because if there is something I am is a guy who wants to be in your way without being saved. A fellow who cares about what truly matters. And what truly matters is you.
